Tailgate Cargo Box (a portable treasure chest)

It started with tailgate parties, like the ones famous where I live in Denver at the Broncos Mile High football stadium. A clever way to pack it all up including the tables! It's a "transformer for adults." The Tailgate Cargo Box transforms from storage into two tables.

This is a product that I can use often. I've had it on the truck receiver hitch, travel trailer bumper and sitting in the garage where I slide one of the tables out for that extra space we need around the house, for birthday parties and picnics. Included shoulder straps on the collapsed tables make they easy to take anywhere.

Starts as a box...

Easy to carry to anywhere, includes shoulder straps

Makes 2 individual tables or ...

A row of tables, makes me an outside office.

Easy to put together, well thought out with spring loaded bolt action latches that disconnect the tables from the end covers fast. Piano hinges fold the table tops out and spring loaded pins secure the top into place as the legs also lock into place. And when you make the tables back into a cargo box, the legs snap into place in the table tops as the tables slide into each other and onto the platform. You can lift the aluminum cargo box off the platform with the handles in each end, like you would an ice chest.

You always need more storage space, whether a truck, mini van, SUV or RV. A must have for trade shows and flea markets. Maximum load weight is 500#'s which matches the tongue weight for a Class III receiver hitch. Box measures 43 1/4" wide by 18" high and18" deep. Table size is 43" by 32 3/8", 27 1/4 tall. Price is $499.00 with free shipping for this aluminum cargo box and steel platform carrier that will fit standard 2" receiver hitches.

Bought a receiver clamp from Camping World for $28 and can attach the TCB to almost anything square. You never have enough storage or tables at campsites. So why not bring them with you. TCB looks good on this 2005 Keystone Zeppelin travel trailer touring the Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes.

A couple boxes, UPS proof

Easy instructions and assembly

Latches to hold the box to the carrier, that lock. Everything locks  including the lid

Platform carrier, you know I'll use it for other things. Might even add a cushion and call it a fishing couch

The ends lay in the carrier when you are using the tables

It's neat how everything fits together and stays together with spring loaded latches

Bolt action locks the table tops to the ends

Just fill it up. We hauled backpacks, footballs, luggage. fishing poles, etc. Now I just need to cover it with MrTruck decals
